9 февраля в 6.30 утра в Самаре в районе Самарского филиала Физического института имени П.Н.Лебедева Российской академии наук («ФИАН») дворником был обнаружен труп молодого человека со следами насильственной смерти. В 8:00 на место происшествия прибыл наряд полиции. По личным вещам удалось установить личность убитого. Им оказался Никита Калин, 20-ти летний активист и участник митингов «За честные выборы», анархист, антифашист. В 11:00 мать погибшего была поставлена в известность о случившемся. На данный момент задержан подозреваемый в причастности к убийству 22-летний Николай Заливака, на одежде которого была обнаружена кровь убитого. По словам матери Никиты, тело её сына было обнаружено с шестью ножевыми ранениями, переломами рёбер и травмами головы. Из неофициального разговора с сотрудником полиции она узнала, что задержанный причастен к группировке неонацистов.  

Libel as an instrument in fighting with political “extremism”. Case of Nizhny Novgorod antifascists and “antiextremists” methods of working.

A criminal case, complained by Nizhny Novgorod anti-extremist centre, have already made a lot of noise in mass-media. Political police didn’t manage to keep malignant procedural violations, falsifications and tortures, made during arrests of Nizhny Novgorod antifascists.

As a result “anti-extremist fighters” decided to return to this information in mass-media with another portion of lies against our comrades: on the site of a local police department appeared an article reporting “achievements” of Nizhny Novgorod political police, who managed to expose an extremist group. An unbelievable flight of fancy of the police officers gave birth to this masterpiece of fantasy literature, where antifascists turned out to be exponents of nationalism and even committed attacks “on motives of racial, national or religious hate”, and anarchists are members of an organization with a precise hierarchy, strict discipline and regulations and moreover “system of punishment”!  Anyone who lives in our society and managed to keep his mind intact realizes what a nonsense this story is. But a person who is far from politics usually knows a little about the methods of a punitive agencies in getting new epaulets, how they fulfill their plans and make a career. This article will tell you about true conditions in the “Nizhny Novgorod-Antifas” case and also about the way they “work”.

A call for coordinated actions around the world on March 16–18, 2012

Friends and comrades! We, the anti-fascists and anarchists of Nizhny Novgorod (Russia), appeal to concerned people around the world. The political police (the Center for Combating Extremism or Center “E”) have fabricated a criminal case against our comrades. Anti-fascism has been outlawed in our city. We need your solidarity and support!

What are the charges against our friends and comrades?

Five young men, our friends, have been charged with organizing an “extremist community” under the exotic name of “Antifa-RASH.” According to our illiterate police, this strange acronym stands (in English) for “Red anarhia skinheads”  and should be translated from their broken English slang into Russian as “red anarchy of skinheads” (a combination of all the fears of ordinary law-abiding citizens.) Artyom Bystrov, Albert Gainutdinov, Pavel Krivonosov, Dmitry Kolesov and Oleg Gambaruk are alleged to have formed this organization in order to carry out assaults on people espousing ultra-rightwing views and to incite hatred against them and against wealthy people.

On the 20th of July, at 8 o'clock in the morning officers of Nizhny Novgorod Anti-extremist Center started denentions of people who are suspected to be antifascists. 3 men were taken and they were accused of an attack at a neo-nazi. According to the board of inquiry, attack at a person who keeps to neo-nazi ideology, was commited on the 14 of June in 2010.

On April 26 by The Anti-Extremist Center in General Directorate of Ministry of Internal Affairs  of Russian Federation in Privolzhsky Federal District  officers in common with The Anti-Extremist Center in  General Directorate of Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russian Federation in Nizhny Novgorod Region and The Federal Security Service of Russian Federation Department in Nizhny Novgorod Region six Nizhny Novgorod inhabitants were arrested. As it became known later,  two other people couldn't be arrested, how The GU MVD of Russian Federation in PFO (General Directorate of Ministry of Internal Affairs  of Russian Federation in Privolzhsky Federal District  – SM) Press Service reports – they are in the federal wanted list at the moment.  Except the arrests seven rummages were carruied out. To some pepople's homes were put extremist materials and so-called “membership cards” of non-existing extremist organisation “Antifa-RASH”.
The rummages were caried out in the presence of witnesses but for unknown reasons they were standing in the hall outside the door while policmen were in the flat for 20 minutes. Exactly at that time were put the extremist materials including the so-called “membership cards” of non-existing extremist organisation “Antifa-RASH”. Our site redaction get the exclusive materials proving this crime under the article 303 part 2 of Russian Criminal Code ( Falsification of evidence in a criminal case by the person making the inquiry, the investigator,the prosecutor or the lawyer- shall be punished by imprisonment for a term of three years with deprivation of the right to occupy certain posts or practice certain activities for up to three years) - explanations of witnesses and a rummage protocol.

At the present moment by The Anti-Extremist Center of GUVD (General Directorate of Internal Affairs - SM) in Nizhniy Novgorod Region detectives a criminal case is fabricating against Artem Bystrov, who was arrested on April 26,2011. He is incriminated the article № 213 part 2 (hooliganism committed by a group of persons on preliminary arrangement by hatred or hostility toward a particular social group). Two of  suspects yet couldn't be arrested. It is worth noting that victim itself — a nationalist D.Redkin, doesn't have any claims to people arrested on April 26 and refuses to take part in confrontments.  The case was filed seven months  after the accident. It was filed by pressure at the victim and the witness. The investigation is proceeded with gross violations and falsification of evidence. For example during the rummages  the membership cards of non-existing organisation “RASH-Antifa” with photos and serial numbers, evidently made by Center “E”(The Anti-Extremist Center - SM) detectives, were throwen in to the suspects' homes.

Disseminate this information as wide as possible. Organise the solidarity actions!

Artem Bystrov was born in Gorky city in the common soviet family. His father is a fireman and his mother is a secretary in Housing Management.  The USSR collapse, the 90s mess and related crise were forever printed in the boy's memory by his parents' bust, hungry days and permanent debts.

The poverty, chaos in the streets and uncertainty in tommorow's day contributed to Artem's development of distrust to powerfull officials-thugs and to their defenders -police. Already at school began Artem's problems with the law : for his non-standard ideology the boy was put under their control by juvenile Inspectors, they repeatedly put him on record, naively assuming that repressions are able to “correct” a man... At this background a nihilistic punk-subculture most clearly displayed the youngster's internal condition and his relation to what was happening around him.

Several years of  spontaneous rebelliousness, wild drunk fights in the struggle for the right to be himself and life by “No future” principle however didn't interfere Artem to be a bodybuilder and to study at the gymnastic faculty of Pedagogical University, at the same time working  as a cleaner at the  subway in the night time. Being a peasant's descendant  by his mother and a plant worker's descendant by his father, Artem strongly believes that the only right and honest way to earn money is one's own physical labour and that's why since  15 y.o. he became to work at constructions, plants, without neglecting any hard physical labour.

By the end of 2007 year, Artem who had firsthand known about brutal excesses commiting by neonazis, had became an antifascist.  By finishing the 4th year of university inspirated by “straight edge” movement ideas he had given up with pernicious habits and became a vegetarian.
